About

I’m Jules ten Bos. I wonder about things — how reality works, how we relate to it, how language shapes what we see. SPLectrum is where I am exploring in the open.

I have been fortunate, after years of thought and toil, to be able to cast a point of departure in principles I call the SPLectrum seed — six lines about language, relation, and reality. Not a theory of everything. A foundation to fall back on.

SPLectrum is not only about philosophy and the sciences. That includes an engineering project, permeated by AI. Apart from the focus on language and meaning, there is research into seamless AI integration. The engineering builds on three pillars: Mycelium, an AI-friendly repository; HAICC, a human-AI collaborative creation methodology; and SPLectrum itself, for an engineering treatment of language and meaning. The engineering area of the reference library is where this lives.

We practice what we preach — this site is created under an explicit human-AI partnership, openly acknowledged.
