Engineering - The Technology

SPLectrum engineering starts from a set of engineering commitments.

Three tracks at present, each addressing a distinct engineering concern. More tracks will appear, implemented on top of the SPLectrum platform.

Infrastructure — external software maintained by third parties or in-house. Runtimes, platforms, and standalone modules.

Language Substrate — the committed languages: AVRO, Git, Kafka. Each plays a specific structural role in the architecture.

SPLectrum — the platform itself. Logical and physical design.
