Engineering Seed Language

The vocabulary of SPLectrum’s engineering language game at seed level. Words that carry the seed’s concerns into engineering speech.

Engineering shifts away from the individual POV toward interactions across a data state, and this base vocabulary reflects that.

The vocabulary itself is maintained at the seed vocabulary page — five seed-to-engineering pairs (Being/Entity, Language/Protocol, Subject/Owner, Reality/Data state, Shared reality/Shared data state), plus engineering-only terms (Data world, Subject reality, Persona).

Protocol and persona are two levels of a language game: protocol is the unit (one interaction pattern), persona is the role (the structured set enacting it). SPLectrum engineering splits where Wittgenstein leaves “game” ambiguous.

Other words from the seed — equal standing (P4), convergence (P3), relational density (P5) — shape structural commitments rather than naming specific artefacts. They live in the three pillars as design principles.
