Positioning - The Landscape
Positioning contains reference material on people and subjects across all disciplines of importance to this site. Persons and subjects each have their own A–Z.
Persons and subjects are held on their own terms — entities at equal standing, independent of any angle taken on them. This catalogue is then compiled from more than one angle, each drawing on the same A–Z.
The resonance rings. Three rings group the material by proximity to the SPLectrum seed, plus the fence where dissonance is engaged. They compile every angle except engineering.
Seed
Pieces tracing the thinkers and subjects in closest affinity with the SPLectrum seed principles. Innermost resonance ring.
Close affinity
Pieces at one remove from the seed — close, but not directly tracing the principles.
Wider landscape
Pieces at greater distance from the centre, still on the side of compatibility.
On the fence
The only surface where dissonance is engaged — resonance and dissonance both worked through.
The engineering angle. The engineering section compiles from the same catalogue into its substrate and infrastructure sections.
