The seed and Discovery

Being has all its relational powers already present by the fact that it is. P0 draws the boundary; P1 gives it relational character. The power is intrinsic, not acquired. Discovery is the creation of insight that harnesses what was already there in potential — finding the key, not adding to the storehouse. Software languages are a clear example: the base language has the full power; every library or idiom is an insight into expressing what was always possible. Each evolutionary transition fits the pattern — conditions already present, unlocked when interaction density or insight crosses a threshold.

Both characters hold at once. The possibility pre-exists — the path available, the medium ready — but the walked path is not a finished thing waiting to be found: it comes into reality in the walking. From the side of what was possible, nothing is added from outside; from the side of the subject, something genuinely new comes into being. The newness is real; the power it draws on is not new.
